Welcome to Wild Down Under. An ever expanding place to find out about travelling Australia.

Australia is a vast place and contains so much wonderous wildlife it’s hard to imagine. From Whale Sharks cruising the drop-offs behind the Ningaloo Reef, to Wedge Tailed Eagles soaring over thermals driven off the land in the arid lands of South Australia, and to snow happy Wombats feeding off the meagreist of diets high in the Snowy Mountains. It’s safe to say that Australia has it all.

Travelling around this big continent is a fantastic experience, and with that in mind we’ve created two sections to help people on the move.

1 – Accommodation Directory
A place to find a wide range of accommodation just about anywhere in Australia, from campsites and caravan parks to Bed and Breakfasts and Backpackers. Simply head there, type in the postcode or town you’re heading to and bingo.

2 – Route Finder.
Simply click away at the route you’ll be taking between your stay and the route finder will pick out all the accommodation available along the route, helping you to choose where you want to stay.


As the site grows more and more information will be handled by our systems, to included a whole range of other items of information to help with your travels.
