We've just added a new Campgrounds section onto the site, this section is in it's infancy and will grow over time. So far we've focused mainly on New South Wales, but over the coming weeks we will build up a large database of camping grounds all around Australia.
Check out the new campgrounds section here: http://www.wilddownunder.com/campgrounds/
Camping grounds are essentially basic campsites, often free from charge, that are in places of natural beauty such as national parks, reserves and other such places. Using our National Parks system you'll be able to view a national park and look at all the campsites, caravan parks and now camping grounds in and around it to help you plan your trip.
For a good example take a look at Francois Peron National Park.
