Recreational Abalone season is in full swing, where licensed recreational fishers are allowed to gather Western Australian Abalone between 7am and 8am every Sunday until December 7th.
The fishing zone runs from Greenough River Mouth down to the Busselton Jetty, and is heavily patrolled by fisheries officers during the season. Large fines are dolled out to those caught fishing illegally or breaking the strict bag limit and size rules
the bag limit for Roe's abalone is 20 the legal length is 60mm.
Licenses can be purchased online, or at the post office.
