Common Wombat ( Vombatus ursinus )

Generally found in the cooler temperate regions of Australia the Common Wombat is quite often sighted when out spotlighting of a night time, and very often heard grunting and snuffling around unsuspecting campers. It is a fiesty creature that can certainly look after itself so always be a little wary if you come across one.

Life Span:

5-10 years, sometimes longer in captivity
