Dugite ( Pseudonaja affinis )

Dugite Snakes are hihgly venomous and a bite can be fatal for humans. Their color varies from green to brown. Their head is an identifying feature, as it is maller than the neck. They generallyavoid humans, but turn agressive during mating season (springtime) and should be avoided.

Distribution & Habitat:

Found in the southern part of Western Australia and in random groups in parts of coastal Southern Austrlalia. They prefer to livein sandy habitats or bushland.

Diet:

They eat lizards, rodents, and other snakes.

Breeding:

The female produces approximtely 10 eggs per clutch and incubated them for 65-90 days.

Not Threatened
